GIS Project Manager
The role of the program Management Office is to support the project manager, among others by:
- Defining the project management processes and procedures that will be followed.
- Supporting the management of the schedule and budget at the program level.
- Defining the quality standards for the project and for the project's components.
- Supporting effective resource management across the project.
- Providing document and configuration management (knowledge management), and
- Providing centralized support for managing changes and tracking risks and issues.
Education:
- GIS PM Fundamental Training.
Role and Responsabilities:
- Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors and providers
- Defining the project management processes and procedures that will be followed
- Defining the quality standards for the project and for the project's components
- Supporting effective resource management across the project
- Create, manage and control project plans
- Supporting the management of the schedule, budget, issue, change and risk at all level
- Providing centralized support for managing changes and tracking risks and issues
- Support the solution definition creation
- Support the service definition creation
- Ensure the sufficient and correct communication is executed
- Project Monitoring, reporting and documentation
- Providing document and configuration management (knowledge management)
