We are looking for an SAP APO Consultant for an international project.

Duration: + 1 year

Daily rate: 500-600 €

Location: preferably based in Barcelona.

Remote: possible.

Background: fine tuning the tool, defining clear procedures and elaborating adequate user training concept will be part of the candidate’s responsibility.

Scope: Manufacturing sites in Europe supplying the world.

Internal stakeholders:

Planning teams of each manufacturing site in the region (includes Core planners and Plant planners)

Role and responsabilities:

Act as a Business Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert. Key responsibilities are short term optimization and long-term continuous improvement.

APO Assessment

Review key SC flows within company.

Build deep understanding of Supply within EU

Map current APO configuration

List gaps between business requirements and current APO setup

Understand level of expertise among EU APO users and evaluate training requirements

Evaluate current effectiveness of the tool in terms of usability to drive the business

APO Improvement

Provide robust solution to ensure business solution meet long term business objectives (capacity planning, campaign manufacturing, etc.).

Lead analysis, design and implementation of the required system changes. Create/adjust functional design documents based on business requirements (i.e process maps and business blueprints).

Develop clear and simple user manuals and procedures.

Organize user training.

Manage change management for end users: from (still) existing process to APO.

Continuously coach, empower and develop users.

Update documentation as processes evolve.

Determine key performance indicators and measure business benefits.

Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
