Details of the offer

Role and responsibility:
• Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware/software and related infrastructure.
• Operation and monitoring of site routers, WAN acceleration devices
• Operation and monitoring of LAN switches, wireless infrastructure
• Operation and monitoring of datacenter network equipment
• Operation and monitoring of network security services (firewalls, remote access)
• Operation and monitoring of UCC service
• Service management of Global Network providers
• Maintain, monitor, analyze network infrastructure performance and capacity, make recommendations
• Ensure maintenance contract and lifecycle management of equipment
• Keep the lights on and take care about monitoring solution
• Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensure high level incident management through our ticketing system
• 2nd level network support and general ticket dispatching for Schindler branches worldwide
• Follow corporate change management for operations related changes, execute changes on timely manner
• Assist project teams with technical issues as well as project participation
• Maintain installation and configuration procedures according to standards
• Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures
• Design, maintain and validate user manuals, guidelines, policies and other related documentation
• Fulfill the security guidelines and patch/upgrade the network environment accordingly

Education/experience:
• Degree in Information Technology preferred
• Experience with Cisco equipment, CCNA/CCNP certification is an asset
• Basic project management knowledge
 

Job related technical skills & functional knowledge:
• Solid network technologies background including LAN, WLAN and WAN technologies
• At least 5 years network operations experience in multinational, multi-cultural environment on relevant fields
• Cisco knowledge is required, CCNA/CCNP certification is welcome
• DNS, DHCP knowledge is required
• Network security knowledge (firewalls, proxies, load balancers etc.) is required
